New to Counseling?
I use an integrative approach to counseling because one size does not fit all. In your first session, we'll explore your current concerns and spend time getting to know one another. Types of therapy used will depend on your needs and our collaborative work, and we'll often use a blend of counseling theories. I have been trained in numerous modalities. Some options available to you include . . .

Solutions-Focused
Brief Counseling
This is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on your strengths and what’s working in your life. Instead of digging deep into past issues, SFBT helps you identify practical steps to move forward and find solutions in the present.

Psychodynamic
Psychotherapy
This is a useful type of talk therapy that helps explore how your past — especially early relationships and experiences — may be shaping your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors today. It’s a deeper approach that looks beyond surface symptoms to get to the root of your concerns.

Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT)
This more structured form of therapy helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Changing one can positively affect the others, and over time, rewiring how you think can help you feel more in control.
Couples Therapy
Couples benefit from having a neutral space and fresh perspective for working through relationship challenges, improving communication, and deepening connection. My approach blends techniques from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
